HTTV has won "The Best HbbTV technology or service award" by the CSI magazine during IBC 2014. The company was rewarded for httvLink, its HbbTV Hybrid TV operating system.
httvLink is an innovative Hybrid TV operating system for connected TV receivers. It is based on Linux and HTML5 solutions. Fully compatible with HbbTV 1.5, the growing standard for connected TV, httvLink offers as well advanced features such as multi-screen, TV portal applications, user-profile management and distribution of content within the home, non-linear TV services (VOD, catch-up TV and Push VOD), enhanced EPG, web browsing and multi-source media playback. It is available for all STB platforms: from pure broadcast (DVB T/T2/ S/S2/ C front-ends) to pure IP (IPTV, OTT) and hybrid.
Since its development in 2012, httvLink has experienced several successful deployment with Set-Top Box manufactures such as Televes, KaonMedia, GMI, Skyworth and Novabase and with Operators such as Kabelskiosk for IPTV networks, EXCAF Telecom Group for its DVB-T2 Set-Top Boxes for Senegal analogue switch-off or Parabole Réunion.
